After just over a year of marriage, burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese has filed for divorce from rocker Marilyn Manson, according to court documents obtained by PEOPLE. In her papers, which were filed Dec. 29, Von Teese cites "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split. The couple's date of separation is listed as Dec. 24; Von Teese is not making any claims for spousal support. Word of the impending split was first reported Friday by the New York Post's Page Six column. Manson (whose real name is Brian Warner), 38, and Von Teese (born Heather Sweet), 34, began dating on his 32nd birthday in January 2001. They wed in Ireland in a non-denominational ceremony on Dec. 3, 2005, before 60 friends and family members. "Everyone expected Manson and Dita to have some sort of crazy vampire wedding, but anyone who knows the couple knew it would be the classy, stylish affair that it was," a wedding guest told PEOPLE at the time. This was the first marriage for both; they have no children. Manson was previously engaged to Charmed actress Rose McGowan.
