Make sure you check out Miss Piggy in the window of Selfridges sometime in the next six weeks. The gorgeous pig is posing in a Miu Miu dress and matching heels as part of the celebrations to mark the 30th anniversary of the birth of punk. Well, in fact, it's not the real Miss Piggy, but a stunt double who, we're told, will look just as "sexy, alluring and desirable". "Believe moi," says the real Miss P. "I would love to spend six weeks in Selfridges! But if I'm going to be there, I want to be shopping, not standing in the window, sweetie!"

Nicollette Sheridan and Michael Bolton are engaged, the actress's rep tells PEOPLE. At a post-Oscar party earlier this month, Sheridan, 42, flaunted a huge rock on her left hand, but when asked if she and Bolton, 53, had an announcement, she said coyly, "No. Do you?" Asked about engagement rumors in January, Bolton told the New York Daily News: "Nicollette and I are very serious about each other. ... I am very committed. It is a very special time in my life. I have a good feeling about the future." The couple, who rekindled their romance last year after Sheridan's split from fiancé Nicklas Soderblom, dated for several years in the early '90s. In 1994 Sheridan, who stars on Desperate Housewives, said she hoped to have "the ultimate relationship" with Bolton. Now it looks like they will.
As PEOPLE reported earlier this year, Bolton serenaded Sheridan with an impromptu New Year's Eve mini-concert in Hawaii, as the pair partied at the Kahala Mandarin Oriental. Sheridan was previously married to L.A. Law actor Harry Hamlin. The pair wed in 1991 while she was starring on Knots Landing. They separated the following year. Bolton has three daughters from a previous 15-year marriage to Maureen McGuire. They divorced in 1990.
Brokeback Mountain author Annie Proulx has slammed the Academy Awards voters for handing the Best Film Oscar to Crash. In an article published in The Guardian, Annie writes: "Roughly 6,000 film industry voters, most in the Los Angeles area, many living cloistered lives behind wrought-iron gates or in deluxe rest homes, out of touch not only with the shifting larger culture and the yeasty ferment that is America these days, but also out of touch with their own segregated city, decide which films are good. And rumour has it that [Crash production company] Lions Gate inundated the academy voters with DVD copies of Trash - excuse me, Crash - a few weeks before the ballot deadline. Next year we can look to the awards for controversial themes on the punishment of adulterers with a branding iron in the shape of the letter A, runaway slaves, and the debate over free silver."
