Naomi Campbell presa em NY
Naomi Campbell was yesterday arrested for allegedly hitting her housekeeper with a phone. Police arrived at the model's apartment block in New York and took her to Manhattan criminal court where she pleaded not guilty to allegedly throwing her mobile phone at her employees head, causing cuts that required four stitches, after accusing her of stealing her jeans; Naomi had apparently been preparing for an appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show at the time. Judge Richard Weinberg denied requests from the prosecution that Naomi be forced to surrender her passport, since she is due to fly to South Africa this weekend to appear at one of Nelson Mandela's benefits. The supermodel now faces a grand jury hearing on 27 June.
