Nelly Furtado kicks off Canada’s Juno Awards Show flying “Like a Bird” on Sunday night at the Credit Union Centre in Saskatoon.
The Canadian native swept all five categories she was nominated in including the Fan Choice Award, Best Pop Album, Best Artist, Best Single and Best Album. Whoa, Nelly!!!!!
“I just hand it to all the Canadian artists. This is for everybody - old, new, up and coming, the legends,” Nelly said during one of her acceptance speeches.
“I’m just happy to be here and humbled. Thank you Canada, I love you for accepting me. I love you!”

Last year George Clooney was the sexy man gracing Vanity Fair's first ever "Green Issue." This year they upped the cuteness factor by placing Leo and the cute cub, Knut on the cover. The idea is to raise awareness of the wonderful things the world has to lose out on with the long term effects of global warming. We all know Leo is a cheerleader for all things to help make the world a more eco-friendly place. The man can do more than just act and look hot. As if we didn't already count down the days to get our VF in the mail, now we have another reason to want to check out this month's issue.
