An official St James' Palace statement read: "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that the Duchess of Cambridge is expecting a baby, St James's Palace announced today."
The royal beauty married the Queen's grandson last year and they celebrated their one year anniversary in April.
